Description
The first show was held in August 1885 in the school (see Galloway News dated 28 Aug 1885). During the war it was closed down and reopened in 1978. The primary school children work on projects and these are entered into the show to be judged. The flower and vegetable show is confined to residents of the Parishes of Crossmichael and Parton including children attending Crossmichael School or staying within the Parishes.
