Powfoot Writers

Description

Powfoot Writers was formed in Spring 2011 as a community writing project under the guidance of Vivien Jones. The group produced an illustrated book of prose and poetry - called "Shorelines" - which sold its first 100 copies within a week of publication. The group were keen to continue meeting and writing and are embarked on their second writing project on memoir or life-writing. Meetings include peer feedback on new work, writing exercises and occasional participation in public readings. A small membership fee is payable each year.
