Description
Wigtownshire U3A is part of the University of the Third Age which is a worldwide movement established in the UK in 1982. The organisation is open to older people no longer in full time work - it is not an educational body but acts as an umbrella organisation bringing together over 20 interest groups locally, covering a wide range of specific topics.
Our local interest groups cover everything from Art to Yoga with lots more in between. You can refer to our website www.wigtownshireu3a.org.uk where you will find details of all groups including meeting times and venues. Our monthly meetings, as detailed below, where we have a guest speaker are open to all and are a great opportunity to get together. Please contact the Membership Secretary for more information.
We do appreciate feedback - when you have looked at our website please get in touch and let us know what you think so that we can be proud of what we're getting right.
