Description

Uniformed youth organisation helping to promote teamwork, leadership skills etc.  Young people between 13 - 18 are welcome.

Why join the Air Training Corps?

We offer many adventure experiences such as flying, shooting, field craft and camps at RAF bases.  Cadets from Castle Douglas have travelled to Holland to participate in the Nijmegen Marches and as far as Cyprus to attend a camp.  While at the Air Cadets, you could also complete erveral BTEC qualificaions that could hep you find employment in the future or help with getting in to University.  The Air Training Corps helps Cadets complete their Duke of Edinburgh Award too.  To find out more, please get in touch with us.
