Wigtownshire U3A

Last updated: 08/06/2020

Description

Wigtownshire U3A is part of the University of the Third Age which is a worldwide movement established in the UK in 1982.  The organisation is open to older people no longer in full time work - it is not an educational body but acts as an umbrella organisation bringing together over 20 interest groups locally, covering a wide range of specific topics.

Our local interest groups cover everything from Art to Yoga with lots more in between.   Our monthly meetings, as detailed below, where we have a guest speaker are open to all and are a great opportunity to get together.  Please contact the Membership Secretary for more information.

We do appreciate feedback - when you have looked at our website please get in touch and let us know what you think so that we can be proud of what we're getting right.
