The cultural map is all about who is who and what’s where, but it also has details of some of the region’s many festivals and events. There is also a media and websites section which shows some of the places where you can find out what’s on and when.
Ultimately you are the mapmakers – for the cultural map to develop and grow we need as many people as possible from the creative sector in Dumfries and Galloway to make sure they are listed. The work to set up the project was carried out as part of the Fresh Start initiative and was then taken forward by Dumfries and Galloway Council, DG Unlimited and Creative Scotland – with support from the National Library of Scotland.
